Chief Trainer Maura Thomas

Maura Thomas founded RegainYourTime.com in 2003 out of a passion to help entrepreneurs and small business owners.  Maura’s expertise in organization and efficiency comes from 16 years in the productivity training industry.  During that time, she developed a process for getting things done with low stress and increased efficiency, called the Empowered Productivity System(TM). She has been invited to speak and train at business groups, conferences, events, and corporations, large and small, nationally and internationally.

Maura enjoys helping busy people and successful companies use her specific methodology, plus technology, to be more efficient and productive.  She earned an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, and throughout her career she has worked with clients in a variety of industries, from solopreneurs to Fortune 500 and every size in between.   She also publishes a widely-read blog on productivity issues and has a strong social media presence.

In addition to RegainYourTime.com, Maura also founded Avail Assistants, a company that allows any individual or small business owner to have their very own support staff, regardless of the size of their need or budget.  Her business endeavors keep her very active in the local community in her home base of Austin, TX, and she holds leadership positions in a variety of different community organizations and non-profits (see the Social Responsibility page).

In 2007, Maura was selected from almost 7,000 applicants for The Climate Project, where she was personally trained by former Vice President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore to help educate interested people on the issue of climate change.

Social responsibility is very important to Maura and RegainYourTime.com donates a percentage of all training fees received to charity.
